Michael Socha has been a transmission and distribution manager at Finley Engineering since July 2004. Socha has more than 24 years of experience in electrical distribution design,  transmission, contract management, hurricane/emergency restoration, planning and cost reduction strategies, electric costs/service studies, construction work plans and electrical safety awareness. He also has experience with the Army Corps of Engineers — Fort Bliss Military, base project management of the Combat Aviation Brigade and government military housing underground design projects. Socha has testified for a senatorial subcommittee on territorial disputes, and worked at a hydroelectric generating facility and a nuclear power plant, providing security protection and overseeing technical support staff. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and his Master of Business Administration from Rockford College. Socha is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE). He currently holds five state P.E. licenses.
