They’ve built and implemented a 1 Gbps to the home capable FTTP network, which they intend to leverage for a ‘smarter’ smart grid. Beyond smart grid, EPB is positioning their broadband network as an “open platform for creative transformative products and services,” and inviting entrepreneurs and developers to come and leverage this ‘game changing’ smart platform. This case study presentation will highlight and discuss EPB’s smart network and their vision.
